Synopsis

In the film 'Sarkar Raj' When Anita Rajan played by Aishwarya Rai Bachchan who is CEO of Sheppard power plant, an International Power plant company, intends to bring a power plant proposal which is to be set up in rural Maharashtra. She puts her idea before the Nagre’s, an inspiring and thinking Shankar played by Abhishek Bachchan who is quick to visualize the benefits the power plant will bring to the people of the state. After winning the permission of Sarkar played by Amitabh Bachchan who was against the project for varied reasons. Now Shankar starts a journey with Anita to various rural ares of Maharashtra to gather support for the project from the masses. But, things were not as they intended and Shankar’s dream project for the people eventually becomes a political issue. Now all the other strong plitical forces come together against this project and work towards bringing down the regime of Sarkar and spoil Shankar’s name on the political horizon.
